Stop Loss and COVID-19

MRM can help our clients navigate any questions regarding the Stop Loss Carrier's position on COVID-19 Coverage.

1)  Make sure you receive confirmation from the employer of any benefit plan changes, and email those changes to MRM.  MRM will confirm the Carrier's response.

2)  Work with the claims administrator to create the benefit plan amendment, and send to MRM as soon as possible.  Some carriers are requesting amendments by 8/30/2020.  Please be assured that stop loss claims will continue to be reimbursed without the plan amendment.

Overall, we are seeing Carriers agree to follow the State and Federal COVID directives listed on the right side of this page.
